AMWF conducted an online Group Discussion competition on “Teenage Challenges & Solutions” on 21st Aug 2022.

This competition was held in two different age groups for 13 to 15 years old and 15 to 19 years old teenagers. All the participants enthusiastically participated and expressed their point of views.

Ms. Avani Rawat said- I am happy to participate in this competition, it does not matter whether I win or not but I am happy that AMWF has provided us a platform where we can discuss our problems and find solutions well.

Mr. Parth Shrivastav said that we as teenagers face so many problems but it is difficult to express to parents and teachers. They themselves are busy with their problems and they think that we being teenagers are not having any trouble. They push us only for studies while no one talks about our emotional well-being.

All the participants openly discussed their problems like body shaming, bullying, drugs, peer pressure, social pressure, social media effect, criticism, comparison, etc.

The competition was judged by Ms. Shikha Agrawal, Sr Academician, and Mr. Amit Bhatnagar, Founder President of AMWF & Expert in Emotional Intelligence. The event was moderated by volunteers of AMWF.

In Group A (13 to 16 years old), Ms. Aarohi Agar secured the Best performance along with Mr. Vivek Punasiya. The best spokesperson title was secured by Ms. Vaishnavi Chhabra & Best innovative Solution was won by Ms. Shreya Yadav.

In Group B (16 to 19 years age)- Mr. Deval Maheshwari secured the Best performance position. The best spokesperson title was secured by Mr. Harshvardhan Shukla & Best innovative Solution was won by Mr. Yuvraj Singh Dikhit.

Volunteers of Amogh Memorial Welfare Foundation organized Sharing is Caring Drive with the objective to build small libraries for needy children at different organizations.

In the drive, the first event was held on 19th February 2023 at Aim for Seva hostel, located at Khandwa Road, Indore. During this drive, volunteers collected academic and motivational books for children of class 4 to class 12.

Mrs. Malini Agashe, Sr Academician was the chief guest of the program. She addressed all the students and volunteers. She added “Sharing encourages teens to think of others and how to meet their needs, as well as to think about how their own choices can help and benefit their community. Learning to share can help teenagers build strong and meaningful relationships, which can have positive impacts on their overall well-being and as well as on our society too.

Reading books is an important activity, it helps to expand knowledge, develop imagination and creativity, and improve focus and communication skills. Reading books helps teenagers to understand different perspectives and points of view, and encourages critical thinking.

Additionally, it can help to reduce stress and depression, as it allows teenagers to escape into another world, and can help to develop a better understanding of the world around.”

She congratulated to volunteers for setting up the first library and wished them good luck for the next library setup.

Mr. Ashish Agashe has also donated 100 notebooks & 100 pens for the students for their examination preparation.

Mr. Dhruv Rawat gave the vote of thanks. During this event, Ms. Shreya Yadav, Ms. Jainy Goda, Ms. Nimisha Bhatnagar, Mr. Kanishk Jain, Mr. Yuvraj Singh Dikhit, Mr. Vedant Mandloi, Mr. Amit Bhatnagar, President and Mr. Ashish Agashe, Vice President of AMWF were also presented.

AMWF has conducted a workshop on “Conflict Resolution” on 19th Oct 2022 at Oshan International School, Bamjhar (M. P.)

Workshop was conducted with many activities and storytelling sessions, conducted by Mr. Amit Bhatnagar, President of AMWF & Emotional Intelligence Expert.

During the workshop, he said “Conflict resolution is an important life skill that can help you in all aspects of your life. It is the process of resolving a dispute or disagreement between two or more parties. Communication is the main key to resolving any conflict but as soon as we involve in any conflict, our first reaction is to stop communicating with other person.

He further elaborated that “Conflict resolution is a process of identifying, analyzing, and addressing conflicts in a constructive way which involves understanding the source of the disagreement, actively listening to others who are involved, and finding a resolution that works for all involved.”

He suggested that “It's important to practice active listening and communication skills, such as being able to calmly and respectfully express your feelings, thoughts, and opinions. Finally, don't forget to take a step back and evaluate the situation objectively. Taking time to cool off and reflect on the situation can help you find a resolution that works for everyone.”

Class 7 to Class 10 students attended this workshop and shared their views. Ms. Anchal Patil won the first prize in the activity. Mr. Harshal Bankey shared how his friends earlier teased him and later on while he expressed his discomfort, his friends accepted their mistake and now helping him in every way.

Mr. Rudraksh Bhati & Mr. Arpit Birla also expressed their experience and jointly accepted that if we can solve our differences calmly we will be at peace and other too.

At this event, Mr. Sundram Patil, Principal of Oshan International School, Ms. Priyanka Singh, and other staff members were presented.
